Designed by RKW Architektur+ and taken over by KULAS Architekten from the final planning onwards, the five-storey building was erected on a plot of 1,600 square metres. Like the entire area, the house is supplied with energy-efficient local heating. The hotel started operating in summer 2019, and since then its 100 guest rooms have almost always been fully booked – the hotel is one of the best-occupied B&B hotels in Germany. It is bema's first hotel construction project and an important, highly visible sign as a prelude to the entire development on the Pierburg site.
